Pride Month is a time for San Antonio’s LGBTQ+ residents to show up together in shows of solidarity, community and expression.

Our city is bursting with LGBTQ+-owned businesses and some of the liveliest Identity festival celebrations in Texas. (Did you understand we have the largest LGBTQ nighttime parade in the country? More on that later!) As you can assume, there is no shortage of things to do here for Pride Month! Kick off Self-acceptance Month in San Antonio with our 3rd Annual Pride River Parades & Celebrations.
The La Villita & Arneson River Theatre Celebration
5-10 pm
Meet at the Arneson River Theatre for an afternoon of reside on-stage entertainment from DJs, bands, impersonators, dancers, and more! Then, head to La Villita Historic Arts Village to peruse food and art vendors.

San Antonio closed out Pride Month Saturday night with the largest LGBTQ late hours parade in the country.
The 43rd Identity festival Bigger Than Texas Parade lit up North Main Route, as thousands marched through the city's new Pride Cultural Heritage District.
This year's parade featured 135 entrants, including many colorful floats and displays, that followed a large festival at Crockett Park.
"Just seeing everybody cheering about the alike thing, the collective of all of it is really beautiful," said a parade goer who went by her first name, Abbey Road. "Everyone should celebrate who they are and not be afraid to do that. We shouldn't have to live in terror, just to live. So be pleased and be loud."
For Olga Tello, participating in the march was about entity an ally to her friends and remembering those who have passed away.
"I had a lot of them during the AIDS epidemic that passed away, so I'm here for them," she said. "And I'm here to cheer on the modern community members and support them. I've

Are you ready for our Annual Pride River Parade & Celebration?
Visit San Antonio created the Pride River Celebration to promote the city's inclusion, encouragement, and support of the LGBTQ+ community to live openly with equal rights.
This year, Pride’s bringing a little more thrust . The Rainbow Rodeo theme celebrates San Antonio’s Texas roots and LGBTQ+ pride in full, bold color. From decked-out floats to cowboy flair, this parade is part party, part spectacle and all heart.
