Kristoff frozen gay

So, how gay is Disney’s Frozen?

I’m not surprised that it’s such a giant hit. I am a little surprised at the sustained effort of Christian fans to spin Frozen as some sort of Christian allegory (more on this in an upcoming post).

For now, though, I need to address something I noted in passing in my review: the scrutinize of gay-culture themes in Frozen.

In my review I mentioned this issue (also noted in positive reviews by other critics) largely to dismiss it as a point of concern — not that I wasn’t aware of the themes in scrutinize, so much as that I didn’t think they warranted getting upset over. However, a direct I overlooked earlier has just been brought to my attention that I think does warrant mention.

First, let’s fetch the broad themes out on the table.

  • With her ice powers, Elsa is notably different from other people. “Born this way or cursed?” asks the troll king, and her parents affirm that she was born that way.
  • Nevertheless, her difference is an occasion of fear and secrecy. Misguidedly, her parents teach her to “conceal it, don’t feel it.” This repression of her true nature

Jonathan Groff made two major Disney milestones by voicing Kristoff.

Jonathan is the first openly lgbtq+ actor to voice a Disney male lead in a female/Princess led production who’s character is (or ends up becoming) a Prince/King.

After doing some research, the only other actor who has voiced a male lead/love interest in a female/Princess led film who is also openly gay is the very talented star BD Wong, who voiced Li Shang in Mulan.

However his character Shang, although a General and a Captain in Mulan, is not royal by descent and wouldn’t become a Prince/King through marriage either, because Mulan is technically not a Princess (although she is viewed and marketed as one for being unbelievable and bringing honor to China, Mulan is not from royal descent in the film, or in real life.)

In the Frozen franchise Anna is of royal descent. Kristoff proposed to Anna and she happily accepted in Frozen 2. This implies Kristoff would become a Prince, rather a King (becauseAnna was crowned Queen of Arendelle at the terminate of Frozen 2) through marriage. Therefore making Jonathan Groff the first homosexual actor to voice a Disney Prince/King.

Since we are speaking technically, I perceive

Kristoff and Ryder had so much chemistry in Frozen 2; it was scary

It was so unexpected and they are so matchless together. I can’t even spot them as friends. They contain too much chemistry to be friends only; they need to be more. I enter the theater expecting to see more Kristoff, more KristAnna, and a song between the two of them. I got none.

BUT I DID GET KRISTOFF AND RYDER!

I didn’t even know how to feel when they were together on screen but I actually asked myself if Kristoff was going to be male lover. Ryder payed more attention to him than Anna was anyway so I didn’t mind. It was scary by how flawless it was though. I literally thought he was going to leave Anna for Ryder.

I consideration the same for Elsa and Honeymaren too. They were so cute! I was thinking, ‘how are these characters so perfect together with only a few seconds of screen time of them?’ I see Elsa as an independent woman who isn’t focused on a relationship and doesn’t want one but woah. Honeymaren was an exception to that headcannon. As for Kristoff, I could see him as multi-attracted and I shipped him with Anna because they are a good couple. But that was before Frozen 2. In ending, Kristoff and Ryder is gre

The biggest question 'Frozen 2' leaves unanswered sets Disney up perfectly for a third movie

Disney's "Frozen 2" addresses several questions left after the first production, like why Elsa has powers and what her and Anna's parents were doing on that disastrous sea voyage. But we still have no plan where Kristoff is from, how he was orphaned, or how he might be connected to the Northuldra people they connect in the enchanted forest.

Kristoff and Sven joined Elsa, Anna, and Olaf on their journey north, far beyond Arendelle. They come in an enchanted forest, where a group of people called the Northuldra stay. Kristoff bonds with one of the Northuldra, a young man named Ryder.

He and Ryder both grasp they "talk" to reindeer in the exact equal way, drawing a link between Kristoff and the Northuldra people.

The Northuldra contain a herd of reindeer with them in the forest, and we realize Kristoff had little Sven from a young age. The two of them seemingly used to exist in the forest alone, harvesting ice and selling it in Arendelle before Anna came into their life.

We know the Disney creative team crafted Kristoff's look in the first "Frozen" movie using modify from the i
